While the show at the Irvine Contemporary in June was a great success, the giant bunny that I pasted up in the back alley didn’t really work out too well. So I came back to DC for the day to give a small workshop at the Bench, which is a part of the Words, Beats and Life project up in Columbia Heights. I put up a poster in the area and then rode the metro over to Dupont Circle to put some paint on the walls to provide a little bit more longevity than the previous project. Pictures after the break.
Piece on the Street
The remnants of the bunny
Jonas Angelet and the guys from Words, Beats and Life helped tremendously and when we finally wrapped up the piece I rode over to Ben’s Chili Bowl for a dope ass Chili Half Smoke to conclude a wonderfully productive day.
Very Best, Gaia
